Donald Glover is an actor, comedian, writer and one of the swaggest, most intelligent rappers around. Star Slinger is the alias of Darren Williams, a Manchester based producer, musician and remixer. The fates of music have bought the latter to the work of the former, giving us a beautifully slick remix of the latest single from the recently released EP by Childish Gambino, the hip-hip alter ego of Mr Glover. The track grinds along on altered vocal samples that proclaim ‘running this bitch’, grooving to a low key synth blare as the lyrical lightning blazes overhead, showcasing the hyper flow and mind matter of Gambino.
